I think the fact that any old code is being removed at all is a good thing. The point of the post (at least from my perspective) is that deleting old code is something necessary for prolonged support of a codebase and it’s not something Microsoft is or maybe even ever will prioritize.
Why would I do that? People might see me!
But joking aside, I admit I haven’t done much with the laptop since installing mint (cinnamon for those playing at home). But I did instsll a daw (reaper) and recorded some music ideas using my Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 audio interface
I’ve installed mint on my laptop, I like it so far. Everything was super easy to get set up, even the graphics drivers

From what I understand, this allows arbitrary command execution. So, an attacker can specify a string of text that something on the affected system will just plop into a command line and execute.
The pain of self repression against the potential pain of self expression
Wait, are you saying people would lie on 4chan???
But seriously, yeah, people don’t seem to realize that people tend to want to pick the path of least resistance. If someone really is trans I have to believe it’s because who they are is so at odds with the expectations of society.
Edit: added a qualification because I am not trans

The map is waaaay more complicated than that!
Because Americans have limited memories and he’s counting on that. Source: am American.
…the one on the left or the one on the right?
Ok, so my boring take on this: I think the word privilege is overused. In my mind there is a basic level of human decency everyone should be treated with. If you are treated above and beyond that, you have some privilege. Situations like the one mentioned in this post (to my mind) don’t speak to a lack of privilege, but to the presence of oppression.
Ok, so if the Republicans took power tomorrow what do you think their policy would look like re: Gaza?
Let’s be real here: the entire US government is supporting a genocide in Gaza. Trying to make it out to be a problem only on the left feels incredibly dishonest.
When all the infrastructure is gone, let the user decide between starving and eating shit.
“of the feminine species”
Uh, do you want to explain to this guy what a species is, or do I have to?
