Mine was about $100 when I got it years ago. The same model is going for $150 now.
Your mileage may vary on its usefulness, but to me being able to wash rice and toss it into the pot then forget about it while I make everything else is kinda like the cooking equivalent to getting a second monitor. Not required and is kind of a luxury, but it’s super useful to have and it improves your workflow.
She flubbed the line as “only hope” and they missed it while filming. They didn’t have the tech to fix it in post. Like most films of that era they were made better by all those happy accidents.
It’s one of those things where once you have properly cooked rice you’ll look at anyone boiling it in a pot like you would a caveman trying to use a cellphone.
That’s not surprising. There aren’t a lot of people rising up to defend the porn games that got delisted on sites like itch. Don’t worry, once all the porn is gone you’ll be hearing people saying the same thing to you when you argue against using facial recognition to shitpost on the internet. Gotta protect the kids!

That’s fine and all, but the same people saying Sweeney defended pedophilia are close to if not the same people who say you’re defending pedophiles if you don’t like payment processors strong-arming porn off of a bunch of different platforms. This is not an accusation against you.
