@clif Not a remote option but you can use a FIDO2 device (e.g. yubikey) as an LUKS key, then you would just need to plug it in and hit the button.
@individual Out of pure spite

@communism Just use curl and wget with the torsocks wrapper.
@glowing_hans That boils down to the problem of making advertising blend in with real articles, rather than any bias within those. Still a big issue, but not to point of discrediting everything else.
@glowing_hans Very, the entire business model of them and the other agencies is to provide the basic facts for their customer newspapers to apply their own spin and bias to.
@WeAreAllOne Taekwondo is a core Olympic sport while Karate has only appeared once, so there’s the motivational factor of seeing top level competition being televised.

@Jack_Burton Distros within the same “family” (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, Mint) are mostly the same with only small differences between them, while the different families have wildly different approaches to various things.
@DirkMcCallahan @Tundra The AUR isn’t a trusted source, but most of the the Arch cult forget to mention that.

@xia @TheImpressiveX Not a steam engine, but an entire network of pipes carrying steam into buildings for heating.
@9488fcea02a9 @sxan Almost all printers work now, since they have to support IPP Anywhere to be useable by phones

@Wahots @apt_install_coffee Universities are good for that. Nothing that old here but my one had 5 buildings from different times (oldest being Victorian era) joined together, using a mixture of direct joins, a shared lobby, and enclosed bridges

@Melatonin Since you lot can’t be trusted I’m calling in Princess Twilight Sparkle to take you back to a monarchy.

@ReanuKeeves Punching a teacher to the ground is always a good idea.

@arsCynic Nvidia drivers, prime offload with Wayland is still a no go.

@ColdWater You could write a small kernel module that just triggers one as soon as it’s loaded
@6R1MR34P3R Some of the LILYGO devices are great for use straight out of the box. I have a T-Echo as my portable device, the T-Deck Plus is also an option if you want something completely stand-alone rather than controlled over Bluetooth or USB. Note that the 868MHz band is more widely used due to congestion on 433MHz, (915MHz is for the Americas and isn’t legal here)
@iii @6R1MR34P3R Depends on how good of a setup you want, but you can start for less than €50.
@Powderhorn Making all cables 240W isn’t going to be possible. They need both thicker conductors for higher amperage (3A vs 5A), and thicker insulation for higher voltage (20V vs 48V). Those can get quite unwieldy compared to standard cables.
I have a power bank that’s rated for 120W, but the built-in retractable cable is only 60W. The mechanism for anything else would be either comically large or have a uselessly short cable.
