I hated those visits. We had to field day our shop and barracks for the better part of the week prior. That put us so far behind we’d have to work 6 days a week 12+ hours a day just to catch up.

I think there were some really dark or embarrassing things in his twitter dms that Musk is holding over his head. Plus he is a malicious idiot who can’t comprehend spending resources to help other people.

Honestly, I’d take Guilliman over Musk any day.

I don’t agree with Mike Pence on almost anything. I don’t respect much about him other than his conduct during the insurrection. He refused to get whisked away in a vehicle to god knows where and stayed in the capitol where a mob wanted to hang him to certify the election. He had physical courage at the one time he needed to and that is the one thing he has done that deserves to be recognized. Otherwise fuck him.

We know that freedom cost a buck o’ five so the nickle may be next on the chopping block.

Honestly, enough where I would read an article if it was posted but not interested enough to seek out articles that don’t appear on Reuters or the AP’s front page. It is depressing to watch my country fall to authoritarianism and it would be interesting to see how a formally democratic society is dealing with authoritarianism being imposed on it. An article on a new cat cafe or a dog parade would also be nice.

Dude is also situationally gender neutral. Saying “Hey dude” to a trans woman is misgendering her but exclaiming “Yo dude check this out!” or “Duuuude no way” is perfectly acceptable.

Trump said he’d be dictator on day one and Harris didn’t. It’s like choosing a surgeon who said they would only rape your unconscious body for only the first ten minutes of the surgery over one who would just perform the operation as usual. The first surgeon my have just claimed to be joking but the statement in itself is disqualifying. In this case voting Dem was literally a vote for democracy while previous elections were cruelty vs the status quo and voting was harm reduction.

Also no healing spell requires an attack roll. In 3rd edition there were some spells that were Save (Harmless) that you could choose to try to make a saving throw to resist them. Once I was playing an Athar who would resist any spell granted by a deity but it was me rolling the dice not the caster.

I was stationed at MCAS Futenma on Okinawa. The US shows no mercy when it comes to crimes against the local residents. Usually the Japanese legal system gets them first then after they spend time in Japanese prison they face the military legal system. We get a whole week of classes when we first get to the island about Japanese culture and they make sure to impress upon how fucked you will be if you cause an international incident. Even minor offenses such as underage drinking are dealt with very harshly. There were two Marines from my squadron sent to Corrective Custody Unit for drinking underage at an off limits bar.

They might want to level gate higher difficulty missions. You can pull your own weight not playing meta, I personally don’t play meta and do fine even on 8 and 9 difficulty. It is frustrating when a low level player uses inappropriate orbital/eagle strikes on targets which wastes time or does not know the general size of a strike causing friendly fire. I don’t mind that on lower levels, people got to learn somehow but it sucks when a level 13 eats up all your reinforcement budget then causes an extraction failure because they decided to throw out a danger close 120mm barrage causing the loss of that missions super samples.
