The obvious one is Niger is a strategic interest in the area for the US, and Russia is the reason for the coupe. We didn’t hear from RIF or Boost as much because I think they thought reddit was negotiating in good faith, and they would come to a compromise that didn’t shut down their app. That was never in the plan for reddit, and they lost a few weeks of talking to people about what was happening.
