Great points, I think you’re on to something.
I think the old saying “Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity” doesn’t apply when malice and corporate interests are in alignment.
Now I’m curious to dig into who actually wrote the bill, and who are they financially supported by…

Already contacted my assembly person to oppose it. I get the intent behind it, but theres no way im going to ask the government for permission to use my own hardware.
I dont even own a 3D printer yet, but I wouldn’t want to be subject to such a bad and dumb law if and when that changes.

If it ever came to armed conflict, not having guns means you lose by default. Obviously having a gun does not make you invincible, and it’s a lazy strawman to imply that is what people are thinking.

You’re correct, of course. But there are still a certain amount of Republican voters who like to pretend they have principles. Then there are also so-called centrists and politically disengaged folks. Sometimes they need to be reminded exactly who these charlatans are, so there can be no excuse for confusing one side of the political spectrum with the other.

“The ICE Office of Professional Responsibility will conduct a thorough investigation.”
I think we’re all a little too old for fairy tales here.

Dead men tell no tales. We’re pirates, remember?

Conversely, if a minority is losing out, then you are WINNING!

Come on, this has to be satire, right?

Well said.

Good point! If they are going to use up our resources anyways, its probably best they are as inefficient and incompetent as possible. Plus, there’s the added benefit that the prosecutor and agency have further damaged their credibility - possible ammo for future defense cases.
“GW per year” and “TW per year” is nonsense.
Watts is a unit of power, which is energy per second.
Im not sure Musk even understands what a Watt is, he just wants to sound smart.

The evil and capable ones tend to be the wealthy behind the scenes guys who know better than to have their name and image associated publicly with the kind of heinous policies they want to implement. They pay for the evil incompetent guys to be the face and take the heat.

Stephen Miller can never fill Trump’s shoes. Trump at least has charisma - he can charm and flatter people and keep a smile on his face. Miller is just hatred manifest, not to mention he exudes insecurity and he looks like a cartoon villain. Zero redeeming qualities. He has to stay in the background so people don’t see the ugly face of their agenda.

I agree with you, but the problem is that the DNC doesn’t think of you or me when they think “we”. To them, “we” is wealthy capitalists and their cronies. “We” is whoever is willing to kill any left wing policy before it gets off the ground, at any cost. They would rather lose to fascists than allow a leftist to lead, because they value money over justice and equality. The party elites will not give up control of the party willingly, even for someone who represents overwhelmingly popular policies.

Take a look at Henderson, it’s right next door to Vegas too.

Well you see, congress isn’t making a law, the executive branch is just doing blatantly illegal shit with impunity, because congress is full of spineless coward sellouts
Sure, agreed. My point was that enthusiam for Harris peaked when she chose Tim Walz over Josh Shapiro as VP, signaling a more progressive path. It came crashing down shortly after when she said she would do nothing different from Biden. People are sick of status quo politics.
