There are plenty of weird dinos. Just as there are plenty bonkers contemporary animals. Nature is wild :D
You can also see where the lip muscles attach to the jaw.
The memes that our current Dino images are wrong are very outdated. Our images are probably surprisingly close to reality.
Just to be pedantic, that one most likely never made it to space, it most likely just disintegrated.
Do you have any proof of that? Can’t find anything about a second try.
Anyone with any stock in big eyeliner obviously. There are tens of us!
Musk becoming (like actually poor like all of us, not rich ppl poor) poor and really irrelevant (and thus completely ignored and not famous at all) would be the best punishment ever for him, even better than prison.
Yeah, I know about the sound. I’ve watched multiple videos with guides how to parry. Somehow my brain refuses to get it
It’s a me thing, I couldn’t get the hang of parrying in elden ring, and not even in botw can I do it. But put me on e.g. Interrupt duty in wow, and I won’t miss a single interrupt. I could time the bonus jumping attacks in Mario rpg games without any issue.
I’m not a bad gamer by any means, but for some reason I can never ever get the hang of fucking parryibg.
I hate parrying so much. I can never get the hang of it in any game. I can play twitch shooters at a decent level, I can play the most challenging platformers without any issue, my reaction time is OK for someone of my age, but give me a parry mechanic and it all falls apart. For some reason, my brain cannot handle video game parrying.
I ended up downloading a mod that extends the parry window by 500% in Claire obscure. I still fucking fail at it at times. It completely ruins the game for me :(
And we’re back. Finally!
Governments also have to comply with GDPR. They also have no commercial interest in the personal data.
Yeah, that sounds like the most correct take. I don’t think the EU will be happy with that if ActivityPub really blows up. e.g. if Threads joins the federation (and we don’t defederate from their data leeching service), that would become really really complex :)
That sounds like a good take. I have no idea if it’s correct, but it sounds reasonable.
So I’d have to contact every single instance to get rid of my data, which sounds reasonable, but is practically speaking absolutely impossible.
Lemmy just sounds like a GDPR nightmare for the EU tbh.
Not as if the GDPR cares about that specifically. Whatever excuse or justification you might have, the law still applies… Mail servers also have to comply with the law.
It seems the GDRP does not agree with you:
To what data do the EEA GDPR and the UK GDPR apply?
The EEA GDPR and the UK GDPR apply to all "personal data,” which includes any information relating to a living, identified or identifiable person. Examples include name, SSN, other identification numbers, location data, IP addresses, online cookies, images, email addresses, and content generated by the data subject.
No idea. That’s why I am asking.
I just feel that if Lemmy keeps growing, the EU will eventually take notice and consider implementing requirements/measures/regulations…
But I guess it’s not just lemmy, but also any other fediverse (or any other decentralized) service. Just curious
Not sure if this is the right community to ask? It’s not really a technical support question, just a general lemmy question.
Yeah, that’s nice and all. But for people that just passively consumed Twitter, Mastodon requires way too much work to get a decent feed set up. I’ve tried multiple times, but I’ve always given up after a while. I don’t want to put effort into my doomscrolling.
I find lemmy a lot more “content-friendly”. After just 2 weeks of using it, my feed is almost back to where my reddit feed was. It’s awesome.
All fine and dandy, but don’t just pick a random one close to you. Don’t forget that the admin basically has all your info. So do your due diligence and make sure to check you agree with all their policies etc.
Hong Kong turned out totally fine after that went back to China right? So much freedom of speech and movement over there now.
