434·1 year agoOh please. Seriously. These are people. These are human beings with family, feelings, and capable of so much love and good. What is so messed up with this party where it’s an option to treat these people like pawns in some made up power grab/mines bigger competition just to make a point. The reality is it just lets the powers that be “prove” they tow party line.
Ken Follet: Pillars of the Earth. Historical fiction. You’re transported back to the 1200s. Cathedral building with raunchy politics, a bit of HBO Game of Thrones mixed in. It was extremely visual… and fondly memorable for me.
