Off topic but IPMI is such a handy feature. I’ve got an old x99 board with it, and man being able to remotely power cycle a frozen machine is missed. Even being able to change UEFI settings without having to drag out a monitor and keyboard.

I’ve got a “shitbox” VW Golf - the twin charger version, it’s only around 118kw. It’s not quick by any stretch of the imagination even with the bolt-on mods mine has so far.
I’d not like to imagine the levels of trouble I’d find myself in owning even a midrange EV. Being able to give an EV a ham sandwich and hit 100kph in ~5 seconds or less is absurd.
Yeah I can’t see a file / folder view on the new client. Not that I saw one on the old android client either.
Must admit the new app is more responsive than the old version on my P7P however having “new on XYZ” service that I don’t have is a shit addition to the new client.
Was commonplace in vanilla wow, you would see common items in the Auction House selling for silly prices - those were the players buying gold. Washing it via the auction house making it seem more legitimate.
dyne:bolic - specifically 1.4.1
Had support for the original Xbox, a multimedia editing / streaming focussed OS. I’d never run it on mine - just messed with xdsl before going back to XBMC.
I mean, why not have a pre drive safety checklist for every drive in the backseat of a Tesla.
Sadly it would seem their built form over function - handles in plain sight to open the doors in case of an emergency seem to be a no brainer; but I’m not any sort of safety engineer.
I’d much prefer to have beige painted steel and some rail mounts on the side. Would totally swap one of my servers into that chassis.
Aren’t the emergency release in some models behind the speaker grills? And others not present unless you have a higher tier package? (Talking about rear doors)
Mount the partition in Linux and migrate it all?
I personally thought I’d miss parts of windows, but the consistent bombardment of bing search results when I wanted to search my computer for a filename, application or just fucking anything drove me to curbstomp all my windows installs.
That and the ever changing settings menus, having to delve through shit sandwiches to end up in an antiquated but familiar window to change a setting was a fucking nightmare.
Honestly, if there was a bit more KISS happening within windows I’d probably have not moved OS - but Microsoft’s never ending desire to change what really worked for so many years drove me to where I am.
You do you, I’m not here to convince anyone to migrate OS, but having some level of semblance and control - for me is such a relief. Probably some of the ASD + ADHD coming through but I’m sure there are many typical folks that feel the same way.
I tried and bricked my S10+
Soft bricked, can probably recover but have not got the time to bring it back.
Is Orca that resource intensive? I’m running it in a container with KasmVNC and have never really checked out the resource usage. Admittedly it’s on one of my local servers in another room. I guess it’s how large your projects are too.
Edit: maybe it’s just my small projects
They better stay away from .mom domains
Mikrotik are really aimed at advanced users, ubiquiti brand themselves as prosumer products. I found the Ubiquiti interface a complete mess - but it could just be me.
If it can run OpenWRT I’d suggest taking that path (if you like to tinker / the device supports it). My Google WiFi hubs are still humming away after all these years - now with way more features and a usable interface!
“You see, killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down.”
We’re getting things ready for you ( )
Molly and meth cool too?
