They keep on doing it because it’s an addictive substance and/or as a form of self harm, unfortunately. Benadryl is very cheap and easy to get, so troubled teenagers try it looking for a break from reality, thinking hallucinogens are all similar. Then they often get stuck taking it every day, destroying their health. It’s very sad.







Well, the “mówić” part is not present, the root of the word is more similar to “niemy”, meaning “mute”; the Polish word comes from “non-speaker”, as in “not speaking at all”. but that’s just speculation on my part, I’m no linguist or etymologist 🤷♀️
