Government workers don’t negotiate for salary, instead they have a set scale based on their job’s pay grade, adjusted for the local cost of living. The lowest level jobs are GS1, followed by GS2, etc. Every GS1 working in the same area will receive the same salary
Would you put whipped cream on jello/jelly? That’s also dairy and features heavily in dessert. Cream cheese is used to make some icing, cheese cake is basically a brick of sweetened cream cheese. So cream cheese also shows up in desserts.
So the person who came up with it was just familiar with how desserts work.
Salad doesn’t mean vegetables. Salad is a dish made of a mixture of discrete pieces. See other things like potato salad, macaroni salad, tuna salad, antipasto salad, caprese salad, etc. You’re going to have a lot of food hangups if this bothers you.
Very few would include all of the things listed above and I’ve never actually seen veggies in one.
The one my family makes is just a dessert that’s primarily jello with a thin layer of cream cheese and pretzels. Has a nice combo of salty and sweet.

She is a narcissist, talking herself up and putting down the people around her. Constantly bulldozing over clearly established boundaries by deliberately misnaming Worf, harassing Picard and Odo after they’ve made it very clear they aren’t comfortable with her advances, and just completely dismissing almost everything her daughter says. It’s clear she just does what she wants and expects everyone to go along with it, making a dramatic scene if anyone objects.
She’s a rich bitch that doesn’t care about anyone except herself and only really seems to help people when it already aligns with what she wants. It’s understandable that Deanna only talks to her mother when pushed into it.
