So hyped for the epilogue!
So hyped for the epilogue!
I agree with you that some people are misguided and expect dark souls to be hard for the sake of being hard. Yes you die a lot but that is part of the game, and dying is not a state of failure but a step in getting better in order to overcome the obstacle.
I have seen people not only beat the game but do a no hit run with guitar hero guitar, dance dance gamepad and even raw potatoes. Making the game easy does not equal to making it ‘accessible’, but it does break the core gameplay loop. There are ways to make games more accessible in general that doesn’t ruin the fun factor. Check out AbleGamers they are doing amazing work helping the community which I think is one of the best ways to go about this issue.
I don’t know what to tell you man, sometimes even I wonder if it’s worth it at all. Publishing to a journal is such a difficult task. Before submitting your paper you need the approval of two other well-established individuals. Then you send in your paper to your selected journal and each one has some specific format and policies, which many are arbitrary and inthe end of the day depends on the person reviewing your paper. This can take weeks of back and forth.
However if you think you did something noteworthy, as far as I know, this is how you get it in front of the eyes of your peers. Even then there’s a chance that your paper gets ignored lol.
So like many others in this thread, I’m not a fan of this process because even though it’s strict, a lot of bs still passes through
Wait this is not the same Sarah Andreson, the comic artist, is it?
Well you’re not entirely incorrect with that assumption. What we call science today is actually the Scientific Method Which is a much more skeptical approach to science than the earlier methods, hence the credibility. I like many others agree that the fees built into the system is quiet absurd and the process is not perfect, but currently that is the only legit way to get others evaluate your research.
Personally I don’t know you so I might be wrong, but based on what you described sounds like you’re doing it more as a chore than having fun
The latest one was LSPatch. Did so much for me. Last message from the maintainer was something along the lines of ‘Seems like people are not happy with the project so I’m dropping it’.
I recently found out one my favourite FOSS projects was abandoned due to bullying. It was a small project and very fresh so it obviously came with some bugs and issues which is a given. The maintainer gave up only few months after because of all the negativity.
Well you can change your ‘assistant’ in Android so not even that.
I have a cheatsheet of all the necessary vim shortcuts!
:q!
Lmao I literally bought Rollerdrome today. It’s been pretty fun and hectic so far so I do recommend checking it out
Well accrding to truesteamachievements, the percentage of people who %100 the game is %32… That can’t be right, right?
Not to say I’m not disappointed with respawn, but they handed over Apex development/maintenance to another studio in 2020
I really appreciate the amount of time and effort this guy puts into making these videos. There are so many good games coming out every day that get overlooked and I persobally don’t have the time to dig for them myself.
I’m usually neutral towards the music I don’t like because well it’s subjective. However I’m currently an active Nickelback hater as a response to this new wave that claims Nickelback hate was just a meme and undeserved. I don’t have an issue with people enjoying unoriginal or uninspired music, I do it all the time. But praising something that is not there annoys me. insert old man yells at cloud meme
Ozawa has reportedly admitted that the charge is true. He told the officials that roads belong to humans and pigeons are the ones who should get out of the way.
Statements like this makes me wonder if hurting animals is so obviously evil or I’m just a hippie.
Knowing his comedic genius, I’d wager a GTA VI announcement is right around the corner
Edit: OH SHI-
Microsoft’s current decision is a stark contrast to Xbox’s motto of “When Everybody Plays, We All Win.” To build trust with disabled players by consistently advocating for accessibility and the disabled experience only to then quickly and surprisingly remove the tools that disabled players need is shocking to much of the community.
They really trade the peoples trust like currency huh. It’s not shocking but still upsetting
“no skill, only play!” OP is wasting everyones time here, including himself. You can’t play the guitar if you refuse to learn how to play. Just go and return it while you still can.
