Not elitist to say that people who use what are essentially weighted random word generators for programming, a career that requires one to know exactly how their code works in case it breaks, are bad at their jobs. Just like how it’s not elitist to say that generated images are not art, and that flying a plane into a building doesn’t make you a good pilot.

TL;DR of the above for anyone else: Socializing is a muscle which can and should be exercised.

Which I actually wholeheartedly agree with. I had a similar experience to you, though not as extreme. I had maybe one friend, didn’t talk to people, considered myself an introvert, basically the typical person you’re talking about. Then I met someone who taught me how to exercise that muscle, and encouraged me to meet other people. Took some time, but I went from having one friend, to having over a dozen. And I’m capable of actually talking to people I don’t know now, instead of clamming up and getting anxious, most of the time. Barring certain physical or mental disabilities, I always try to encourage my introvert friends to talk to others more, as much as it’s a horribly embarrassing, awkward, and especially draining experience at first.

This all being said, you sound like a douche. Especially with that last paragraph. Chill, my dude. Don’t immediately assume you’re gonna be under attack. There’s hardly enough people on this site to spam you with replies anyways.

They’re attempting to, with how they treat Ukranians in territories they occupy, but thankfully Ukraine is able to defend themselves against missiles and bombers. Not really the case with Palestine, not much a Palestinian kid can do against complete and total saturation bombardment and snipers to pick off the civilians that survive. Israel and Russia are two sides of the same coin against very differently equipped victims.

Hence why I didn’t say people who don’t do it are lazy. Laziness is an inherently capitalist ideal, saying that those who aren’t constantly working are somehow lesser. However, those who don’t at least try tend to quote the idea of a “lack of talent”, which is simply not true or helpful. Everyone is able to draw, though some may need some help in doing so. It’s part of being alive.

I despise whenever someone talks like this about drawing. Everyone can draw. Nobody was born being able to make masterpieces from day one. It’s not some mystical arte that only those with the Chosen One gene can do. It all comes down to a willingness to try and to learn. That’s it. Using “talent” to bar yourself from doing so is only doing yourself a disservice. Even drawing silly little stick men is still practice, and I can attest to that from both first and second-hand experience. Just pick up a pencil, or boot up paint on a computer (but please, at least download paint.net or something), and you’ll find that you can indeed draw, you just have to do it enough to gain confidence. It’s like walking, or driving a car. I don’t see anyone saying that some people have innate driving talent and some don’t.
