  • Remember that fascism loves to use sudo-scientific narratives to drive their agenda. Sure, to someone who has little experience, they might sound compelling as they rely on a lack of understanding of an individual on a subject, but really think about it, Have you ever heard of a legitimate case of any trans athlete winning a major competition? How about it happening regularly? Do you know of any actual evidence to support this or is it more a “it just makes sense” feeling? This is important because they are making a non-issue out of something to keep your attention away from the real problems. Even if it is only a small part of your attention, it adds up, as this is but one of many non-issues designed to keep attention from the real atrocities they are setting up to commit.

  • Honestly I disagree, it absolutely is not. If you don’t want to part with your money, don’t give it, but you are not paying for a service. You are are not entitled to what another person does with the money you give them. Do you want the company you work for to start telling you want yiu can do with the money they pay you? Or is it your money to do with what you want once it is given to you?

What is your justification for why they owe you an explanation?

  • I’m not upset at your story, I’m upset at you being judgemental toward unhoused persons. There are a lot of people out there when an unhoused person asks for money just refuse to give it because they think they are going by drugs with it (which, yeah, they might), so many unhoused persons have to resort to giving an excuse they think you might be responsive to. You have no idea what they need the money for. Maybe its to get a cheap phone so they have a way to contact someone if thry need help. Maybe they need a hair cut for a job interview. Maybe its for drugs. The thing is, you should give a person the help they ask for and not what you think they need, in my opinion. You are not their parent and what they do with what they ask for is not your business.

  • Lol, I would actually love an example of the “inevitable” outcome everyone always touts. Everyone says it, but I don’t ever see anyone actually stopping talking about these people or making anyone apologize. You are right, he died hundreds of years ago. We don’t need to punish or blame anyone. We also don’t need to stop teaching physics just because it was forged by pieces of shit. If we are going to talk about the people who discovered this stuff at all (which we don’t have to to talk about physics) there is no need to white wash the history. We can be adults and recognize that just because someone did something important doesn’t mean they were perfect or even a good person at all. We don’t chose who makes great changes to our world, but it doesn’t me we have to hide who they or or what they did.
