A perfectly reasonable take! I tend to have opinions on public figures because I do think accountability of some kind is more important for them than others. I’m not a fan of ‘cancel culture’, but the inverse of it, which allows a felon as president, is not desirable either.

I called it unbased because of a few presumptions, yes. I did assume this was in public, and that someone had to clean up their mess. If I was incorrect about these things, my opinion would change.

I don’t care where people pee in private, but I don’t tend to assume conventions are private. Nor do I tend to assume that pissing yourself is gonna be clean, but I guess it’s outside my lived experience so 🤷‍♀️

Have you ever met someone who thinks they’re dating a 5 star military general who just needs one more google play gift card to marry them? A week in, and you might think they’re foolish, or perhaps naive. But after a year, it starts to become clear that they’re indulging in a fantasy. They know it isn’t real, but they’ll do anything to pretend a little bit longer.
