If you want to reach the public because of higher traffic does not mean you can tell people not to respond. They did not lose the law suit but they were going to. They settled instead. A defamation lawsuit is easy to defend against if you have not blatantly lied, but it was so clear they lied they knew they had no chance. I believe they settled for the biggest monetary settlement ever for defamation. I also believe that’s why they let Tucker Carlson go.
