- which organization controls domain name systems, top level domain naming and registrar assignments ICANN the USA has critical foothold in controlling the internet.

It’s more than that. They argue that the whole network that we call the Internet was invented and is currently maintained by America (and they are not wrong), that other nations failed to invent and deploy competitive solutions and UK trying to enforce some rulings on an American network is absurd.
How TF are they so strong!? I also noticed a difference in physical strength between boys and girls - while expected I did not anticipate it being so much different. I really have to use a muscle on my son sometimes and he’s not even 2 yo.

4·1 month agoI just can’t recommend Aurora, Bluefin and Bazzite enough. Go read Bazzite’s docs. If you had ever used MacOS as a developer and wanted to use Linux tooling, the way you are supposed to work with atomic distros will be suddenly clear to you.
Exactly! They even took care to provide you with convenience scripts for further setup with very detailed description right after you open the terminal.
Enabling TPM based disk decryption, secureboot, upgrading everything etc etc is waiting for you just one command away starting with

I professionally maintain Linux kernel and custom drivers for embedded applications. I fell in love with Aurora on my first run and chosen Bazzite for my brand new Nvidia gaming PC. This will also be my office/web browsing/dev machine when not gaming.
Why? I am tired of managing / sysadmining Linux OS and don’t want to bring the job to my free time (although it looks like my MoBo could use a kernel patch for supporting fan speeds controller hee hee). Bazzite and siblings are the first distros I stumbled upon that flawlessly supported GSync and nvidia graphics out of the box without changing a single option. The defaults are sane, customization is easy. The whole general idea around how these distros are redesigned solve many many pain points that many uses are yet to experience with standard / “legacy” ones. I am more hyped about them than I was when I first discovered NixOS.
Atomic distros like this IMHO should be the default choice now for new Linux gamers. Period.

151·2 months agoI don’t even understand the OPs argument. We are generally respectful towards other people and communities, lack of defederation is the best proof. Why would OP want to defederate with db0 even if as OP said, doesn’t even know if AI content is something of concern or not?

Now you can see how Ukraine, using its popularity, can easily manipulate the perception of their country at the same time building negative narrative about this bad neighbor Poland that only wants to hurt their relations. What is their goal? To isolate Poland in international politics?
Sadly (or luckily?), Polish president-elect words, as quoted in this context, is not far-right nationalist rhetoric, it’s literally the opposite. Now you see how easy it is to misinterpret that (just look at other comments).
You can also see, with this historical context, what Putin meant saying his special military operation is for denazifiacation of Ukraine (but we are not that stupid to fall for this).

This is not an isolated incident, you will find more. Ukraine says that Poles are the ones destroying relations. This simply hurts. Poland’s help in the face of common enemy was unconditional. I have personally rented my flat for free to Ukrainian refugees. Two families with kids. Their kids had free access to Polish health and education system and even social benefits were granted on the same or even better rules as for Poles. This is not enough?
Ukraine is actively blocking exhumations of massacre casualties. Why?
This is why I read the most upvoted comment here that he was paid in rubbles as anti Polish propaganda, the same people who oppose Trump’s fascism support Ukrainian government without knowing their history and values that they try to build their national identity on, whose soldiers are fighting on the battlefield wearing Nazi insignias… How can this not be just plain emotionally hurting?

Yeah shower me with downvotes. Read some history first, then check recent Ukrainian government outcry after recent polish parliament (governed by opposition to the new president) new legislation. Don’t you think something is not right here?
This is a problem which must be solved and not swiped under the rug as this can only cause destabilization and flammable relations potentially causing real serious conflicts between two EU an/or NATO members.
For as long as Ukraine is celebrating UPA and Bandera and ignores genocide performed on Poles, defying any attempts to repair relations with Poland, there is no place for them in the same institutions as Poland currently is.
