Damn, I can only can block users, not instances. Thanks though!

What/where is the meatball menu please?
It does beg the question of why federate at all if you are going to make a walled garden anyway? I would think a private forum would cost a lot less to host too.
BPT was one of the most racist subs I ever tried to participate in. I honestly hate all spaces run by authoritarians though.
As someone in the InfoSec field, I also hate those people.
That is possible as well. Those firewalls are capable of packet inspection. If you are using personal devices it won’t be able to see much if you are using encryption in transit but if you are using University provided machines there is a good chance they can inspect all the data you are sending and receiving.
This is considered world news?!?
Why do you care if not to virtue signal?
Those people are not as ridiculous as you.
Are you hosting a service that is not under your organizations official domain or something? It is common security practice to block newly created domains which may be why your domain is blacklisted if you only recently stood it up.
Sounds like your university is using a Palo Alto Next Gen Firewall which is intercepting DNS requests and responding with the sinkhole FQDN for anything they deem malicious or suspicious. You can try to override this with DNS over HTTPS but they may also be blocking that. Standard security stuff. You can also probably try to open an IT ticket and request that they whitelist the domain.
No, you’re right! We should enslave detractors for our own benefit.
There is nothing sanitary about fast food.
Sounds like you need to ask your boss over there at the old in out burger.
Then folks can go get another terrible job where they can mask all they want. It’s not worth staging a protest over.
I started this way but I’ve been in my field for a few years and now I can’t tell if I’m pretty good or if everyone else is just terrible.
Oh man, I wanted that phone so freaking bad!
This is a nothing burger. Medical reasons are still allowed. Find something else to be outraged about.
According to the memo, employees will no longer be allowed to wear face coverings come Aug. 14, unless they have a medical note.
Or you know, !worldpolitics could be a thing and you could stop telling other people how to think and behave.
It wasn’t really newsworthy, just an abandoned instance hijacked by a handful of nutjobs.
