Depends on the cat and how it has been trained and if they like belly rubs. Some of them simply don’t like it. Mine for instance shows me the belly all the time, and it isn’t a trap. I will at most get a lovebite and then he starts licking my hand. While I still pet him.

It’s simple overstimulation and all cats do it. You can’t give them a shitload of stimuli or they’ll start losing their mind - biting, scratching, flailing. Then they’ll usually move away to chill out so they don’t get stimulated further. Imagine being ticklish and getting tickled by some a-hole for way longer than it’s funny. Yours was just trusting enough to sit in your lap after. The head pressing is normal too, cats feel safer when they are held tightly / pushing on something. Google “squish that cat” - it’s a 7 minute video on how to handle a cat. My cat does the head push when he had a bad day too.

The organization got complacent with the countries not developing their armies and letting them wither away and lose effectiveness instead. The entire eastern flank of NATO screamed that Russia is still a threat, even with the USSR breaking up. Those countries were called “war hawks” and then 2008 happened, 2014 happened and now 2022 happened. Apparently it wasn’t enough to shake them up.

Because Russia doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Also it is better to be prepared and not need it, rather than not be prepared and lose a large portion of the population, industry, potentially getting genocided away etc.

I hear so many weird ass things from people in the US. Plenty of “why were we taught this and that” as if learning the countries in Europe is somehow some esoteric knowledge. And then I remember having to learn all the countries in the world, all of the US states, all of the capitals for 90% of the countries, all the seas, rivers etc. It’s really funny seeing people complain about the tiniest of things they had to learn as if it was med school.

Yeah but 4x10 misses the entire point of it. Also, I work production + bueraucracy and holy crap would I not want to do 4x10, I’m done after 6hrs max.

155 hours over 20 workdays is 7.75 hours a day. They allow one day off per month now, and would allow four. The question that isn’t answered is if it cuts your hours, or if you have to work it off as 4x10hrs instead. Also, I don’t know about time off in Japan - is it in addition to regular time off or what.
