American here. It genuinely pains me to see what little goodwill we had left in the world be squandered by the Turd Reich. Seeing your neighbors vote this totalitarian wannabe in a second time, embrace the hateful propaganda fed to them, as everything becomes unaffordable and AI datacenters, Flock cameras, and prison camps filled with innocent immigrants litter the landscape . So many of us are fighting back however we can. Those of us using legal means see the rules quickly changed to thwart us. Those using less legal means are vindictively prosecuted while pedophiles in power are left in peace. I don’t fault the rest of the world for turning their backs on us - it’s justified.
