Where I lived, the liquor stores were run by the state and were shut down during early COVID for pickup only via online orders. Those two days leading up to it had some of the longest lines I’ve ever seen that weren’t for a sporting event.

Yup they are currently unpaid. Unsure about bonuses since they make a decent amount in that.

This is what concerns me about this whole thing, its like it’s to break morale of all the government workers to either leave or become so desperate to keep their job and pay that some may be willing to do anything in those specific roles they’re targeting.
