Update: [email protected] has been created, temporarily managed by @[email protected] until some mods volunteer for it

        Mastodon and Lemmy don’t have great interoperability. They use the ActivityPub protocol in ways that are not compatible with each other.

          You’re right, they’re pretty different, though you can post from Mastodon to Lemmy I don’t know if you can do the reverse.
          As others have said Firefish is a better fit, also Misskey is nice (long live Ai chan!)
