I set the gateway to .1 and everything up to 100 I move out of DHCP into static pool for some nodes (speakers, servers, gateways, SIP phones, access points, switches, printers, vacuum cleaners, etc.). Simply because in this case, you have to type fewer digits to log into these boxes.
