In 2012, Connecticut postponed Halloween a week or more because we received record snow fall in a nor’ eastern turn blizzard. It cut power to many communities for weeks into the cold fall. I had to shower at a friends house a few times because without power our ground water was stuck in the ground.
Yeah, it used to snow here on Halloween now and then. Haven’t seen a Halloween snow since a bit before COVID, iirc.
