I also wanna say that I -as a communist- would’ve also gone there because of the historical associations, because I’m fascinated by history and enjoy the idea of “[person] was here [x] years ago”, like when I visited the place John Lennon got shot.
I hear what you’re saying, but I don’t care how good the food or view is at mar-a-lago after the American dictator dies, I don’t think I’d enjoy patronizing it.

It’s a gasthaus on top of a mountain. You go there after hiking up a mountain. The clientele is hikers who like the view.
