Voting to stop 1 genocide is a problem? Impact > Intent. If the intent of your vote is to punish some person or party and the impact of that choice is worse, that’s a problem.

Okay, next round it’s 2 genocides or 3 genocides. You don’t want to let an extra genocide happen, right? Better support the lesser evil!

Next round is 3 genocides vs 4 genocides

This changes nothing. When you have the choice to prevent 1 genocide or not prevent it at all, what would you do?

This changes everything. When a broken, antihuman ideology and the unstoppable march of time put you on a trajectory of becoming more identical to the nazis with every passing day, what do you do?

Do you face the ugly truth that a bunch of rich pedophiles lied to you as a child about how power works, used your cooperation to pursue their own ends, and move forward from there? Or do you retreat into denial, back into the cycle of the addict to delay contact with the cold metal of reality? We, communists, aren’t your enemy. We’re you from the future, and we’re running out of time to bring you to your senses. While you line up to vote for 99% Hitler, both parties shake hands to build a camp for you.

Please elaborate on France. Compare their size and current political climate to the United States (the country I live it) and outline how to accomplish whatever it is you are alluding to within the confines of reality.

My country isn’t ethical. I don’t even need to think about that. Still not going to use my vote to let MORE genocide happen.

Yeah that’s obviously not in question. It’s unethical to continue to support the country and not start burning it all down lol.

The last decade has only proven that the “burn it down” crowd (who are super active online, but don’t show up IRL to vote against fascists) are never going to show up IRL for the revolution.

Fascism cannot be stopped with your vote. Hitler wasn’t elected and he certainly couldn’t be removed by election. This is the same for Mussolini, Petain, Franco, Hirohito, etc. We don’t “show up” IRL to vote against fascism because we recognize it is a ridiculous exercise in futility. We do show up IRL at our political organizations which lead protests against the Palestinian genocide, fascism, ecocide, the illegal blockade of Cuba and so so much more. Not only do we educate people politically and agitate within our workplaces and community spaces, we (attempt to) build lasting parties that materially provide for the communities they rely on. So far we haven’t had great success and overthrown the bourgeois state, that is because things take time and we are faced with both very powerful enemies and a very well conditioned public.

I saw a bunch of them show up. But then the Democrats started arresting, torturing, and crushing them.

              And Democratic voters celebrated it.
