Anecdotally I know a guy that was, errr, sensitive, about his size. When his son was born, he was horrified to learn his son was too small to be circumsized (btw, good fuck genital mutilation).
The kid’s mother commented that he is fooling no one about why that shocked him.
I was “mutilated” when I was 9. It’s way more hygenic and did not take anything away from me. I see it as pulling the back tooth or something. It’s just skin. You are not damaging the genitalia.

the exposed head rubbing on underwear all the time is definitely damaging sensitive areas
