This is what the Epic Game Store is great for (the only thing, don’t get me wrong). You get free games every week, some are really good, most are pretty short so they aren’t intimidating commitments of time, and you get the dopamine hit of a new game without paying anything, and the devs still got some money from Epic.
I’m in this picture and I don’t like it.
Bougth dwarf fortress, played 10h, still dont know what im doing
That’s by design I think. You need to add at least one 0 to that hour count and you might start to get the basics.
010?
So 2 hours
My dude, I’ve got 100+ hours and followed along with some video guides and I still don’t know what I’m doing. Pretty sure that’s the game.
Two types of people in this world. Those that understand dwarf fortress and people who tell the truth about not understanding dwarf fortress.
Thats what i think, mayve at some point if they stop developement people will learn everything.
Quick guild: Dig hole, live in hole, die in hole.
Dont know anythinh about guild, but theres a button for a guildhall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It designates a room with the right stuff in it as a guild for a mood buff. Dwarfs may petition you to build one.
Work and work and work until you’re in hell. And that’s the best case scenario.
Just remember, Losing is Fun!
Dont know, havent lost.
While i was checking the steam sale yesterday, my monitor greenscreened. So i guess i don’t need any new games
No no, green means go! The monitor was telling you that you need to buy all the new games.
Hollywood doesn’t want you to know this one weird trick
Just ignore the sale and dive into your backlog. I had GTA IV on the PS3 for ages and finally finished the main game. The sense of finishing it felt better than purchasing a new game.
But that’s work
If it’s work, it’s not play
This guy is too smart
At this stage, my backlog is the retirement playlist.
That’s why I only buy games when they’re heavily discounted. If they cost less than 10 (often 5 or less) then I don’t mind them just sitting there in my backlog. I only pay more if I’m very sure I’ll play the game that same week or if it’s from a small indie studio. So I get very surprised if I play a game the same release year or the year before haha
Bought Blue Prince, time to disappear from the face of earth for a few months
Me after ranting that im gonna finally give far cry 4 another chance
Some of them eventually turn into time played. I tend to stockpile then pick up after a while.
Boy howdy, that’s facts
The matrix could never
Ha! I got smarter over the years. Instead of wasting thousands of moneyz each sale into zero playtime, I now maybe just buy one title. If even. Maybe even play it!
I bought a hat in time during this sale
I still havent played 2 of the games i got while they were free
I got Street Fighter 6. I’d avoided it so far because I generally only do single player and wasn’t sure the World Tour mode would be worth it. It might not have been for $40, but it definitely has been for $16!
