      Our government has been largely captured by people whose loyalty is to, in this order:

      1. Themselves
      2. Their party
      3. America (sometimes further down the list)

      That is the problem.

        Today I saw Jamie Raskin lamenting that Trump has damaged US alliances globally. While, sure, Trump has been bad, voting in a Democrat isn’t going to restore everything. The American public can always vote in another dangerous demagogue and I think the world has realised that.
