I just came to the realization that in the last months I really haven’t come across an app or piece of software that doesn’t have claude code in it. Literally zero promotion posts where it’s not written with AI. People using AI to write one paragraph.
I kinda knew half jokingly that the devs were going to be the first ones to be replaced. They like to say it’s just a tool… cope?
Gotta be real, as someone who hasn’t hosted on github in years…
Why is everyone else taking so long? I can kinda get the people who are still moving off of gitlab to codeberg or their own forgejo instance or something, but github? In 2020-fucking-6?
I used GitHub here just as short hand to cover forgejo and codeberg and self hosted gitea and such. I, and I know others, have pulled code from all online accessible repo systems.
Maybe I should have been more clear yeah. It’s like how people say “Kleenex” for facial tissue despite not having ever bought Kleenex or “Clorox” when they mean bleach.
