    Now, to be clear, doxxing someone is completely indefensible and dangerous because it puts real people in physical danger. But the irony here is thick.

    Hmmmm. Putting nazis in physical danger is very defensible i think.

      I just like the idea that knowing where he lives in some way puts him in more danger than he already was before. Anyone who really wanted him dead would already has this information.

      So basically him being docxed is just about telling everyone where he lives. He doesn’t want that because it’ll result in protesters turning up on his lawn but his life is not in any more danger.

        JD Vance had this too. You can’t even get up onto the street where his house is when he’s home now, because he’s so scared of protestors in front of his house that he’s had the Secret Service lock the entire street down just to feel safe.

      Defensive violence is justified only so long as it is defensive.

      For example, torturing prisoners is immoral even if the prisoners in question were (and want to be) executioners for the State. They do not pose a legitimate threat of violence when they are (controlled) prisoners.
