    The sheriff’s office said the forensic anthropologist’s initial physical examination determined that many of the remains are likely ancient Native American in origin; however, several of the skeletal remains require specialized forensic testing at a laboratory to determine their origin.

    Whew, close one. For a few scary moments I thought this might be some kind of sick white people skulls collector.

      I think the idea they’re trying to get across is that he didn’t kill these people. They were dead for close to 2 centuries before he started treating their remains like a funko-pop collection.

      Still gross that he’s collecting them at all, but I think the idea is to offer relief for those close to him that he wasn’t actively killing.
