    I really hate the premise that this is a “war” when it’s actually the continuation of at least a century of imperial aggression against Iran.

    The US lost this war, but that doesn’t mean Iran won

    Inflation is around 80% YoY, the Rial is at historic lows, while the broader economy is expected to contract 6-10% this year. Iran has a path to “winning” long-term by establishing permanent control over the strait, but it’s far from a guarantee

    The reason the US is guaranteed to lose is because we had nothing to gain to begin with. Vague ideas of security and the removal of non-existent nukes from Iran does not benefit the American people
