First off, nothing will beat red vs blue for Halo-verse content.
The only way I see an Elder Scrolls screen adaptation being even remotely well received by fans is if they follow the DnD: Honor Amongst Thieves/ Masters of the Universe movies, and Fallout show’s structures, where they didn’t take themselves too seriously and leaned into the cheesiness/abstract nature of those franchises.
Amazon’s MGM has had some bangers, and Paramount and Hasbro have had commercial success with Transformers, even if their flops have been more well received by fans than the movies and shows that were commercially successful.
I just don’t see Microsoft doing well with any of their licensed franchises without an established studio to produce it… feels like they’ll probably pivot to an AI slop studio to churn out some bullshit that takes itself too seriously if they actually plan on turning any of these into fruition.
