I do wonder though. With device fingerprinting being what it is (and I’m only learning how deep it goes) I imagine it would be fairly easy to say all @yadaya.something are all the same person, and not individual people.
I do a lot to stay anonymous/blend in (so many different threat models) but I wonder how much it does if they jsut know anyway.
Yeah, it’s a cat and mouse game for sure. I think if you do anything that is more than voluntarily give your data to them, that’s a win. I hope that at least I’m wasting some of there resources even if some data base has linked me to the trash email.
I also love when reps ask for my email in person. I love spelling out “trash” phonetically and watch there face connect the dots. Also my domain is let’s say … Not user friendly and I say it fast and hope they miss hear or type and it’s wrong because of them.
