Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has made at least $174,000 annually for nearly eight years as a member of Congress but has yet to put a substantial dent in her student loan debt, according to House financial disclosures.

Hmm, I want to turn people against this popular candidate. What if I imply she’s a deadbeat because of her unpaid student loans, that’s not relatable to the masses at all, right? And I can point out her salary, people will think she’s rich - nobody will take it to mean that even on six figures student loans are unpayable!

A remarkable self-own, there. Hell of a performance.
