Just like no child left behind, the patriot act, citizens united, and fucking all of reagonomics wasn’t permanent right?

Honest question, in what time frame do you expect this law to change back?

      5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

The future in which this law changes back is fully dependant on the US not becoming more fascist. Yet here we are now, basically the same spot as Russia post collapse of communism, all excellerated by the other policies I mentioned that are technically not permanent yet have pushed us into this spot over the last 50 years.

You want to act like this isn’t permanent? Give me a single plausible way this law can change back in the next 5 years, as electing a non-fascist no longer gaurantees they’ll even take office post J6. That is the reality we’ve living in, regardless of this headline being click bait. It’s factually, and realistically accurate based on the absolutley abysmal potential futures in front of us.

        this law

An executive order is not a law. It will be reversed when the next guy sits in the chair. The Patriot act is a law. No child left behind, a law. Laws are passed by congress, not the executive. This isn’t permanent until congress makes it a law.
