Ironically that’s a perfect use case for a local, open-sourced, non-corporate, offline, firewalled and possibly air-gapped agent; to more easily explore, document and understand what’s in those 500 million files.

However, I would agree unless you’ve really got to know what’s in there the setup alone makes it almost certainly not worth it.

      You mean LLM, not agent?

Or are you using agent to mean “instance of specific LLM model hosted on X”? Your description is also a bit weird offline + firewall (firewall against what? Local hosting environment?)
