I know it’s just a meme, but this episode always makes me cry when he says in a broken voice “I am a human being, damn it.” It just strikes me as so profound an injustice, to be considered less than human just because you’re a different color. “No, we won’t publish your awesome story because the lead is black.” “No, we won’t put your photo in the magazine because you’re black.” “No, you can’t work here anymore, because your stories about a black man being more than just another servile removed are too much of a risk. iT cOUlD stArT a RAce RiOt!”
Yeah that was a really powerful scene and story. Very poignant presentation of a prevailing theme of the show, and they absolutely hit it out of the park =]
What, did you want section 31 in theaters?
The best trek is lawyer Picard. You don’t need a Cineplex for that.
Id pay to see a theatrical version of The Drumhead
Regardless of what I do or do not want, Paramount keeps announcing that they’ve got movies in pre-production.
Lie to me daddy sisko
Given the state of Hollywood I would rather not
Coming 2023
Is that Armin in the background?
Yes!
It’s “far beyond the stars” - a absolute masterpiece of an episode of DS9
Avatar fans (Both avatars franchise), how long they wait? Like 11 years for new content? Star Trek can be no different! /s
