I know there are tools that supposedly make it harder for AI to be trained on your images. But what about text or code? Is there any way to share things outside of a small group while minimizing the risk that some fucker will scrape them or otherwise use them for building an LLM?

easy; make a website on the dark web.

crawlers work by finding https sites and with tor being on http (and hence onion addresses being on http) the crawlers would need to be re-engineered to search http as well as https. tor is slow, so by putting it on the tor network, it’s just a massive fuck you to data surveillance.

but wait, you can even be a bigger scumb by adding JS to your website. that basically makes loading it take several seconds (or minutes) longer for a regular user (depending on the data throuput of their internet connection) so imagine what it would be like with tech companies.

the point isn’t to eliminate data surveillance its to be such a condescending asshole, that tech companies wouldn’t bother caring for your full ass, 10-stage JS compilation, torified website.

If you couldn’t tell, I’ve thought about this question a lot… I like seeing tech companies suffer.
