    In the past, younger generations were not absorbed into digital screens nearly 24/7 that literally program behaviors into them, where those behaviors are finetuned to turn them into mindless consumers or some kind of cult adherent, or gambling addict.

    Acting as if Gen X and boomers arent glued to their screens and sending god awful fascist memes around.

      It’s different during your formative years I think. Kind of like that girl who was locked in a closet by her parents and never learned to use language. Part of that was they ran out of funding and time to teach her more since she was beginning to understand, but still. There are developmental windows for things that are quantitatively different if you miss and learn later. We have no idea how social media or constant dopamine stimulation affects development during those same vulnerable stages or how it can cause you to “miss” certain milestones or not get the practice you need for the next step you learn after. We’re only just learning what it means.
