    There were extra police officers on duty for the festival and a large number of off-duty officers working for the festival itself, Heffernan said, adding that “mobile security cameras” were also used.

    And yet 12 people were shot and both gunmen are still at large. What’s the justification for more “good guys with guns” and surveillance, again?
