Dude , snap out of it; The AGI promises are delusional; The buffed autocomplete is not self conscious and it will never be. And the cap to be “ahead of the AI race” will be power infrastructure and manufacturing for robotics in which China has already won. I am not American I don’t want the American nazis state to win shit; i think that cesspool of racist pedophile idiots they call a governemnt needs to be dismantled.

And the only thing i am looking forward to is the promise of cheap Chinese GPU’s, cheap memory and the idea that maybe through that i can continue to buy my own hardware; instead of the future the degenerate american billionaires want are where they are forcing everyone to rent compute for anything and be their little muzzled paypigs. (which is the real goal for this “AI” bubble.)

Fuck Nvidia fuck all american companies and fuck the corrupt techbros that are really running the show there,

If AI was really inevitable the large american conglomerates would not be pushing it so hard on the most common consumers. This shit is not making the money they were expecting. The behavior of the conglomerates is not that of finding a game changing tool; but of using their marketing push to establish their monopolies. I Don’t give a shit About your degree, you can use AI for whatever you want. If you have legitimate uses for it you don’t need to push it to everyone.

This technology is not a matter of national security for anyone. The americans will use AI as an excuse to kill innocents the same way they always found excuses for their nazi shit. And i don’t care about AI cold war coded races; I don’t want data centers or american monopolies attempting to take over the infrastructure of work and life where i live, just like i don’t want american politicians lobbying for who should the people in my country vote for.

Data centers need to be stopped from being constructed. AI businesses need to be scaled back. And if this is really a tool; then it should be treated as a humble tool instead of the grand narratives techbros keep pushing about it. You don’t need trillion dollar infrastructure to use machine learning in niche science applications.

This story about strong AI is just old propaganda; how strong? Wasting tons of electricity and water for 0.000000001 better models? Find a better promise for this technology.

So all your arguments are: “ai will get stronger” and “scary chayna” Are you parsing this through an LLM to repeat them over and over again? China has the right to defend themselves from American economic pressure; and i commend them for their great efforts in fighting against american restriction and economic terrorism. America loves to starve countries that they don’t like; Just look at what they are doing to Cuba. I also hope China takes the mantle of giving the world options for American corruption in means that are both economy and technology. Eventually the US will become so threatened by open source models they will start outlawing them. The push has already started but i don’t care because I don’t need AI at all. Why would i want to be an intellectual cuckold? why deskill myself?

The point stands; However intellectual cucks wants to use AI, they should go for local and open source models instead of wasting so many infrastructure, power and resources on bigger models. This technology needs to be humbled, scaled down. And yeah I’m rooting for china to become first world power and maybe give the United states menace and It’s lap dog israel some much needed discipline…

          Against photography:

“Could you find an honest observer to declare that the invasion of photography and the great industrial madness of our times have no part at all in this deplorable result? Are we to suppose that a people whose eyes are growing used to considering the results of a material science as though they were the products of the beautiful, will not in the course of time have singularly diminished its faculties of judging and of feeling what are among the most ethereal and immaterial aspects of creation?” ~Charles Baudelaire

          Against writing:

“For this invention will produce forgetfulness in the minds of those who learn to use it, because they will not practice their memory. Their trust in writing, produced by external characters which are no part of themselves, will discourage the use of their own memory within them. You have invented an elixir not of memory, but of reminding; and you offer your pupils the appearance of wisdom, not true wisdom, for they will read many things without instruction and will therefore seem to know many things, when they are for the most part ignorant and hard to get along with, since they are not wise, but only appear wise.” ~Socrates
