      Yeah, “economists” love to ignore the inconvenient fact that by their own theories, economies are supposed to have periods of retraction to keep the whole thing stable.

      So when decades go by where you cry “recession!” every time there are signs of that economic retraction happening, and kick the can ever-further down the road while inflation keeps rising and never goes back down because you’re building a tower ever-higher out of popsicle sticks without reinforcing the base; what do you think will be the inevitable result?

      “Infinite growth” has been a lie from the start. It’s neither possible nor even desireable (cancer is literally uncontrolled growth). Yet anarcho-capitalists make these wild, dogmatic claims that infinite growth is how the economy is supposed to work.

      It’s like they’ll quote the half of their (pseudoscience) theories of economics that supports their agenda, but treat the other half of those same theories as a sort of taboo.
