Virginians should take up arms. Perhaps they shouldn’t have to take any shots, but they should show up.

You had the election. The people have spoken. It doesn’t matter if the referendum didn’t happen according to all the parliamentary rules, even if they were in the state constitution. You let the election happen. You let the masses have a choice.

You can penalize the lawmakers who performed the procedure wrong. You cannot erase the will of the people.
