The UN, OIC and everyone not directly funded by the US state department would disagree.
essentially free markets, but with strict government oversight
I think you should learn what free market means. Also simply not true, while private capital exists every strategic sector (the commanding heights) is publicly owned (land, energy, transport, finance).
China isn’t committing a genocide. If it were we’d have SOME proof, as there’s so much proof of Gaza even though Israel is a surveillance state that severely represses the Palestinian people.
Your views on China and Chinese people are shaped by the US propaganda machine, rather than evidence.
I know you mean well but most of us started believing the same bs you do, there’s criticism of China within our spaces but it contends with reality rather than the propaganda you’re repeating.
“Of course there’s no evidence of the genocide, it’s being kept secret! Not so secret that I, as a random westerner, know for sure that it’s happening though”

China is “authoritarian” from the perspective of capitalists, but liberating for the working classes. China is not committing genocide. Chinese citizens can and do critique the government, what’s often censored is reactionary views or capitalists trying to foment liberalization. The markets are not free, and that’s a good thing, as it’s key to the success of China’s Socialist Market Economy.
Defending genocide? Absolutely not. Genocide is the greatest of all crimes against humanity, so when accusations of genocide are falsely levied then they should be resolutely denounced, lest they undermine real genocide, such as what Palestinians face at the hands of the Zionist entity. I have no shame for dispelling atrocity propaganda that undermines existing struggles, same as I would for the supposed “white genocide” in South Africa.
Fyi this strategy is not effective. You’re literally accusing the only political group who cares about genocide of being pro-genocide because you don’t know what the word means and you’ve learned to hate socialists. Your viewpoints are incoherent, not real, and we can just shrug them off like one would do a child’s rage.
The only thing socialists will apologize for, to you, is that your mode of production has clearly let you down in a sad and meaningful way.
The US tried to foment division in China by funding and organizing Salafi terrorist into Xinjiang, and once its efforts failed, it made lemonade out of its lemon by concocting and promoting a genocide narrative.
The only countries pushing this narrative are the “always the same map” imperial core countries, which just so happen to be largely the same ones supporting Israel’s genocide.
Almost no predominantly-Muslim country buys the Uyghur genocide narrative, because they know it’s bullshit, because they talked to the Uyghurs themselves. https://twitter.com/un_hrc/status/1578003299827171330
#HRC51 | Draft resolution A/HRC/51/L.6 on holding a debate on the situation of human rights in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of #China, was REJECTED.
In accordance with China’s affirmative action policies towards ethnic minorities, all non-Han ethnic groups were subject to different laws and were usually allowed to have two children in urban areas, and three or four in rural areas.

I wonder where those Salafi terrorists came from? Oh right: the US, UK, and Israel organized, funded, and trained them, as they did Al Qaeda and the various flavors of ISIS/ISIL, including the “moderate rebels” that just took over Syria. For what? Bursting your little sinophobic fantasy bubble?

Yeah, we always have proof of every genocide happening, because nobody would try to keep it secret
Sarcasm is not an argument, and we do have evidence for every genocide in modern history, because it’s impossible to hide one.
You missed my point. How come there’s not a single piece of evidence? Not one victim we know for sure? No video, photographs, nothing?
“Of course there’s no evidence of the genocide, it’s being kept secret! Not so secret that I, as a random westerner, know for sure that it’s happening though”
Three hundred million tourists, not a typo, passed through Xinjiang last year. Not a single tiktok of anything amiss.
