I have no idea how much it costs to make one of these props, but if the estimated values is between $5,000 - $10,000 - this doesn’t really sound like an auction as in “my grandmother died and I need to liquidate everything”, rather “hey, let’s make a quick buck and fleece fans of the show of their disposable income”. It’s an auction. The price is what people are willing to pay. Current bids on many items are still only $100.
