After reading the article, i had long lost count of how many people she had killed, poisoned, accused of witchcraft, accused of conspiracy, exiled, forced to commit suicide and so on - and that was BEFORE she became officially empress, which led to her cranking it up to 11 with a secret police that did not fuck around and installation of postboxes where people could denounce each other. Other rulers for sure learnt a thing or two from her.
