Ken Martin - "I have made my position on this clear from day one: We must end the influence of dark money in our politics and restore power back to the people.”

No. In fact, you have made it clear, and yet again with this vote, that your position is that you must make mealy-mouthed quasi-promises to end the influence of dark money, but then consistently fail to actually do anything at all meaningful that might actually accomplish anything toward that goal.

If this is a genuine good-faith effort to broaden the scope of the resolution while still including the original premise, then I suppose that is ok.

I will caution that “genuine” and “good-faith” are doing a fuck ton of heavy lifting here. I would be very surprised if this isn’t pure bullshit. And note that intentionally broadening the scope so much as to sabotage the resolution is not genuine or in good faith.

Edit: I’ll leave the above for posterity, but fuck it. No, they needed to accept this resolution first and then work on their broader one. The 2 actions are not mutually exclusive. This is just trying to weasel out of doing anything.

So they rejected a resolution that would have reigned in AIPAC. Is is seemingly clear a vote for democrats is a vote to be Israel’s puppet

I mean, a vote for republicans is a vote for Israel taking over the entire Middle East and then us nuking it to fulfill the rapture fantasies of a million rich Christan evangelicals and their poor inbred followers

Better come up with someone to vote for that’s convincing to a majority, or else I’m afraid we’ll be holding our nose for Gavin fucking Newsome god I hate this country

    • They learned they get more money when fascists are in control. Same thing the Media learned. Biden was a snooze fest for tv ratings, and all the brunch libs stopped paying attention and donating. The senior leaders who are in districts that will never get ousted are fine with their party losing, it’s financially incentivized for them.

“reaffirms its commitment to campaign finance practices that align with the Party’s core values

Which is being an ineffective opposition party, aka complicit, in war crimes, insider trading, treason, and running proxy genocides.
