That campaign promise, combined with Biden’s ego forcing/allowing him to press on beyond his capacity, put the Dems in a very bad position. If Joe Biden had been strong enough to commit and stick to a single term, they could have cultivated and promoted a much better ticket. It would probably still have resulted in Harris being the nominee, which was the point of that campaign promise. But at least it wouldn’t have been the shit show we saw. Maybe she could have gathered the courage to have some differing positions from Biden/DNC

Unfortunately I believe this is true.
That campaign promise, combined with Biden’s ego forcing/allowing him to press on beyond his capacity, put the Dems in a very bad position.
If Joe Biden had been strong enough to commit and stick to a single term, they could have cultivated and promoted a much better ticket.
